So we are trying to escape Flu season this year, and one way to help that is having our annual fun day at the doctors office. Ryker didn't get it when Mommy told us we were getting our flu shot this year. It made me so sad, but Ryker some how got the idea that it was a prize or present or something, silly boy. Well, we got to the office, I about kicked everyone and ran out the door. But I held it together and tried to act brave for Ryker, he still didn't get it. Since Tino was here, they had her stand in the hall with me while Ryker got his shot. He got a little upset, but they gave him a dum dum sucker and he ended up not even letting out one yelp or shedding one tear. I of course can not eat dum dum suckers so when Ryker got to stand out in the hall with Tino enjoying his sucker and I had to be poked, I broke down. Can you blame me, I have had more shots that just about anyone. But the nice nurse still gave me a dum dum any way, and you know what, it still made me feel better.
So moral of this story, need to endure something painful, bring some of these along.

I'm pretty sure I should have gotten a lolli since I had to endure being in the doctor's office watching you two get shots. I mean we all know my record with needles...
Those dum dums come in handy many places like grocery stores, trying to leave grandma and grandpa's house, getting kids to stop screaming while you are on the phone. . .
