We didn't mention earlier this week that Mommy's doctor is watching her a little closer with this pregnancy. With her history of having babies trying to escape early, and expecting twins this time, she has been hit twice as hard. She has already started noticing the contractions and a lot of the early signs that happened with Ryker and I. Well, there is new medicine that mommies can get when they are pregnant to prevent preterm labor, something still being studied, but something Mommy's doctor feels will be best for her and the boys. So once a week, she gets a lovely big shot in patooty. She is not really thrilled, but would rather have some properly baked little buns, than have months in the hospital. So here is to her new medicine.

How The Genetic Dice Fell
Today was the day. The day we have anxiously been waiting for. The day that we would find out how the battle the hormones will play out for our family. Well . . . Surprise we will be having THREE! Three boys total that is. Yep, twin brothers are on their way. Well, since this is the technology era, here is some video of the boys.
And this is our very favorite one! Both hearts beating together. Call us sappy, but we have a thing for baby hearts in this family. Daddy even broke out in song during the appointment. That is why we love him so much.
We are very EXCITED about these new little boys. Now . . . on to perfecting their names.
(Sidenote: We were not able to get the full Ultrasound done today because of some time constraints, so that means we will be back next week for another look. What they told Mommy and Daddy is that the boys look great and Mommy does too. Can't wait to see them again next week.)

Practice Make Perfect
Our parents have been talking to us a lot lately about how we are going to be a big sister and big brother to two babies and how we are going to have to help out. So we decided we had better practice. Since I have watched Mommy take care of Ryker the last two years I think I might actually be able to help. But I thought today I better start practicing.
Feeding my baby.
Ryker testing the food to make sure it is not too hot.
And rocking the baby with a bottle to help it fall asleep. Ryker helped with the rocking bit. Even though Mommy is very worried about how this is all going to happen, l I don't think this will be too hard.

Where is my mother, and what have you done with her?
Today, this woman who claimed to be our mother and approached with an idea. "Hey lets go take these crayons and color on the sliding glass door." Uhm . . . who are you and what have you done with our mother? Ryker slowed down for a bit, but decided to take advantage of the situation and go for it. I was a little bit more cautious until I caught a glimpse of the brand new box of crayons, and it looked like this.
What? Dry Erase . . . and with an erase mitt too. Maybe this really is Mommy.
We had tons of fun drawing and erasing, and drawing and erasing, and not getting in trouble for starting to color off of the paper and onto the table, or chair, or carpet, or . . . ourselves. We just colored all over that window to hearts delight. It was AWESOME! (Thank you super awesome aunt that we went camping with this summer who clued Mommy in on this awesome invention.)
Then we got a little silly.
Just a little fun afternoon activity.
But the best part is hanging out and playing together. Thank you Mommy for letting us have some crazy fun!

Things that make me happy
Mommy and I have been talking a lot about what makes us happy. And we have decided there a few things that make both of us the Happiest of all.
I love cooking in the kitchen with Daddy. Mommy loves the things we cook in the kitchen, usually chocolate chip cookies.
This little guy (hey, he might weigh more than me, but I am still taller so I can call him little) can make us both of laugh like nobody's business.
And Mommy's ever growing and greatly enlarging belly.
Yep, it is our family and all our craziness that makes us the most happy. But those chocolate chip cookies do help add a smile to all our faces too.

Balloons, BIG Balloons!
Okay, So Ryker and I have come to the consensus that if it were not for amazing friends and family we would constantly miss out on the most exciting things in the world. Case in point: last night we went to the park and saw the most amazing thing. Giant Hot Air Balloons!
Seriously, Mickey was HUGE! Ryker and I had to keep asking for more and more and more. It was just amazing.
This is the Super Amazing and Very Cool Friend who clued Mommy and Daddy on this amazing family activity.
We got front row seats (meaning the grass right in front of the taped off area). Oh and the Pirate Flag, that is for you Tino.
It was awesome watching them race to see who could fill their balloons first.
And catching glimpses of the fire. WOW!
Seriously, this was absolutely amazing!
And then we counted down and watched the whole row light up. So beautiful! We could actually feel the heat. It was well worth staying up late. In fact Ryker cried when we got home because he loved it so much.
Well, even though they might not ever know about these events. They at least take us and let us have fun. Guess they are not that bad after all.

We are here, We are here, We are HERE!
Guest Post: Mommy
Last night, Daddy and I were sitting and watching some TV when I felt a little "HI-YA!" on the right side of my belly. After I let out a startled announcement (wasn't expecting this type of movement at 15 weeks), Daddy put his hand on my belly to feel it too (he has always loved feeling our babies kick and punch and has been waiting anxiously for his chance this time around). Well as soon as he put his hand down, I felt another little "HI-YA!" but on the other side of my belly. Then the two started going crazy at the same time! Even Daddy was able to feel it! Yes, I have felt little nudges here and there, and a lot of little movements that have made me laugh because I felt like I was being tickled for a couple of weeks. But this was a definite Horton Hears a Who type of moment, the Babies were announcing, "We are here, We are here, We are HERE!"
