Go take a Hike . . . uhm . . . Literally

One beautiful afternoon, our family was invited to embark on a hike with some of friends. Now Mommy and Daddy love this couple and will take any excuse to hang out with and jumped at the chance to spend some time with them.

They beginning of the journey.

Having to readjust all the packs. Didn't want to accidentally lose something very important (a.k.a. a Ryker or I).

Checking out the view.

Mommy with one of her bestest buddies in the world. She inspires Mommy to try new things, and be a better person.

Daddy telling Mommy how this isn't hard at all, (we haven't reached the hill yet Daddy.)

Taking a little break.

Who said you could slow done, just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

You can do it. Don't give up!

Me and Daddy, just the way I like it.

Now our friend found out carrying Ryker is no easy feat. If you slow down to a speed that he feels is not good enough for him . . . Well he will "kick start" you. Literally. Don't want a bruised behind, don't volunteer to carry the Sidekick (or just beat Daddy to the punch of picking me.)

One of the MANY beautiful flowers we got to see.

This amazing lady is fantastic, she is seriously FANTASTIC! We absolutely love her to pieces.

Had to do some hiking myself. No fair having all them old people do all the walking. (They are selfish like that you know.)

Couldn't let everyone else have all the fun.

It was a long grueling hike (not really, but Mommy and Daddy are way out of shape so that is what they tell people). But it was so worth it. Time with amazing and wonderful friends, and a beautiful view of this amazing world of ours made for one fantastic day.
