The Last of Christmas

So this last Christmas, Daddy got a wonderful gift that he wanted ever so much. And Mommy trying to be extra frugal made sure she got a great deal on it, like a 90% off deal. (Redlights and sirens should have gone off that something was wrong, but Mommy wast just excited about being frugal.) Well Daddy got a foot massager. Glee overwhelmed him. However, a few days after Christmas he opened the package in excitement of the relaxation his feet were soon to experience only to pull something out of the box that still haunts their memories . . .

An old, stinky, and very used foot massager.

Lets say, Mommy will never shop at that department store again (and yes this was a department, not some no name low quality store but, a nice, well known, national department store.)

So after returning the "thing," and nicely discussing with the people at Customer Service their feelings of utter disgust and hopes that the "thing" not be reshelved, but more appropriately burned. They got their money back and walked away with their sad little faces hanging low.

Daddy soon gave up hope of ever having his feet being massaged and having that feeling of utter relaxation.

Then today, my parents got a brilliant idea, lets got buy another one and replace the Christmas present disaster.

So off to Bed Bath and Beyond. (Not quite sure if this were in the Bed or Bath Section, it wasn't even in the Beyond Section. Just the front of the store at the In Between Section.)

So here is what the Christmas present should have looked like. (You will thank us for not showing you the "thing", I am starting to feel faint just from the memory.)

And showing you how it works. My feet feel much better, Ryker's bottom is much more relaxed too.

HA! Some of the things they will restock in stores...It most likely has made it home as a birthday or anniversary gift to someone else...Maybe it's like the fruit cake of foot massagers.

I still wish there was a picture of the other one. Even if it was nasty.

Glad that Ryker's bottom is getting relaxed too.

I'm with Jana, I wish I could see the "thing." But more importantly, I am very glad that Tory's feet will finally get the opportunity to utterly relax.
