An Egg-cellent Project

Well it is that time of year that we start preparing for the wonderful holiday of Easter. Lucky for me, I don't have to worry about my Easter Dress. We found it right after Christmas. Mommy usually remember the week before Easter that I will need a special dress, which is too late to look at all the really cute options. But that doesn't mean we are all prepared.

Oh we have much to do.
So Mommy and I decided to do some super inexpensive Easter Craft today (super inexpensive=no money spent). First we picked out and cut up a bunch of Mommy's old scrapbooking paper. She accumulated a lot, before she had Ryker and I, now that she has us and something scrapbook about, it just sits in the cupboard. Go figure.

Then we got out some old Easter Eggs from Easters Past. And Dabbed/Smothered them with Modge Podge. Modge Podge, fun to say, fun use.

A picture of Mommy and me together. Bet a lot of you readers out there wonder if Mommy is ever around. She is, and sometimes she actually helps with these projects.

Then we took those tiny bits of paper and plopped them on the Modge Podged smothered eggs. We found out that if you dip the paper in the Modge Podge too, it works easier. Didn't figure that out to the end. Live and learn I say.

And the eggs as they sat drying. Mine is the pink one if you couldn't tell.
A fun little inexpensive project with materials we already had at home. Ingenuity, gotta love it.

We just may have to do that one at our house! You've got some cute kids!

Very fun idea. And alas, Michelle is right about all that scrapbooking supplies. The Winter's have the same problem. Only our supplies have actually moved out to the storage unit.

Very cute and crafty. I saw someone do that with fabric scraps. Way to turn those plastic eggs into something awesome!

Look how creative you are. We usually forget to get things for Tyler until the week before too. Last night at the store, we got the last of the plastic easter eggs. Crazy!
