Giving the dudes a bath in my old tub brought good memories, so I thought I relive old times.

Bath-time at Home

DSC_4484

The boys were a little bit smelly (spit up milk smell). So Daddy and I decided to give them a bath.

DSC_4488

Max loved my head massage that I gave him.

DSC_4490

Such a little baby boy.

DSC_4494

Luke enjoyed his turn too.

DSC_4500

I love helping out my brothers.

Therapy Moment

DSC_4511

Being sick in the hospital is hard on a person. You lose lots of strength and muscles. So I am having to back track with a lot of strengths. But I know I can get it back.

DSC_4518

Some simple games of standing up and squatting down.

Working on my balance.

Upper body strength.

And finish with some stretches. This is exhausting work, but I can do it!

Being a Big Brother

DSC_4478

Mommy and Daddy brought home these little tiny boys. I have tried to play trucks, puzzles, and all Break the Ice with them, but they haven't seemed interested. Then I had an idea. I will just sit and rock them.

DSC_4480

Yes, this is the perfect thing to do with these babies.

And then up to the Children's Hospital's elevators to see our sister. (We tried to get her to escape with us, but they just wouldn't let her go.) Now on on way to home.

Our Place

Realized we didn't have pictures of our place. So here are some pictures of what we look at each day.

Abducted by Aliens?

IMG_1686

Woke up with this stuff on my head. Thought maybe I was abducted by aliens. Nope, just a hearing test. I thought jumping at every loud noise would count. Guess not. Or maybe they just like to scare babies.

2 bottles of Milk in Our Mouths

IMG_1680

Our very first bottles, and boy were they good. We are Rockstars at this eating thing, but we are boys you know.

Photo with Mommy and Daddy

posted from sis-in-law (the favorite one!)

While we stayed with Michelle, Tory ran down to the NICU to see Elizabeth and the babes. I told him to take the camera and have someone take photos of them TOGETHER with their babies. Glad he doesn't mind me bossing him around. :)

Such strong parents. It was so hard to have both Dallas and Wes in the NICU when they were born, but we have never had to juggle three let alone two kids in the hospital at the same time!!! They sure have been bouncing back and forth trying take care of all their children. I'm glad I get to help out when possible and take Ryker. He feels comfortable at my house and it's always a party when you get the cousins together.

Cute little fam. Now they all need to do is hurry up and get better, get home and be a family of 6!!!!

Michelle

Nothing new to report on Michelle-they are waiting for the swelling to come down and for her to recover from surgery and all the meds she needed. She is such a trooper. I am amazed at how happy she is despite all that she has been through.

Here is her surgery scar. She is slowly healing.

up close look.

We were able to spend some time with her and helped Tory give her a quick bath. It was great to comb through a little girls hair!!!! She has the softest hair and it was fun to play with it. Glad that she's slowly getting better. Hope she gets to come home soon.
We love you Michelle!!!!

1 month!

Taken from my blog--sis in law Tammy

We went up to the hospital on Sunday to visit Michelle and the boys. They are now one month old!!! I brought home a piece of paper with stats and info on it, but for the life of me can't find it anywhere. So, maybe Elizabeth can fill in the details.

They are doing well and working on getting nursing down. They hope to have the tubes out by this week and *maybe* head home towards this weekend or early next week. They are still super small (I think Luke is only 5 something and can't remember if Max has even hit the 5 lb mark!) but are strong little boys. It was so fun to see them. They are starting to look more like babies rather than little old cute men. :)

Here are some 1 month photos.

Luke

Max

Both Boys Max is wrapped in yellow, Luke is wrapped in blue.

Best buds already. Love how they're holding hands.

Waiting for some milk!

Such TINY hands!!!

Leave us alone!!! We want milk or sleep.

Their little home away from home. Cute name tags, a few stuffed animals and some books.
