Recently, my parent's started noticing my eyes would start to wander. No, not the eye wander I gets when I no longer want to pay any attention to them because they are boring old people and blah blah blah blah blah. But the type of wandering that is caused by weak eye muscles. So on goes the patch! I wasn't too sure what to think of the patch at first, but they convinced me it was cool by talking like pirates, make hooks with their hands, and singing Pirate Shanties. After several renditions of
Pirates Don't Change Diapers, they finally had me convinced. Then I remembered . . .

I am already a Pirate! I was granted pirateship and given my pirate name by my favorite pediatric resident at Doernbecher Children's Hospital. Little Shark Tooth Alena returns.

ARGH! Girls who have to wear eye patches at some time in their lives are the coolest, Michelle! Though I don't remember my patch being quite so cool or anyone talking to me like a pirate. Get you parents to buy you some giant aviator glasses for when you go out!
Cute! I love it. Yah, know what? Isaac has that same problem. That's why he wears glasses. They are a prizm that keep his eyes looking forward. I think he's look awesome with a patch, though. :-)
ARGH!! You make the coolest pirate I have ever seen, Michelle! I think I might copy you next Halloween.
Awesome!!! You'll be the best mate aboard the Thornton ship . . . aarrgghhh!
Wait...where's my eye patch?
Had to wear a patch on my left eye when I was a kid. Too bad they weren't as cute as Michelle's! We would put stickers on mine to make them cuter.
