With a Capital P

Our parents have really been trying hard to teach us to share in this family. Next time they teach us something like that, they need to be more specific. Instead of, "Michelle and Ryker, you are brother and sister and you are only 2 years apart in age. You need to learn to share your things." They should have said something like, " . . . You need to learn to share your toys, and books, and snacks, and mommy and daddy's laps." That would have been better. Now many of you may be wondering why we think they should have clarified. That is because we have been doing a very good job of sharing. Sharing things like Pneumonia. Yep, we have been very good at sharing that this winter. It all started with the episode after Thanksgiving, then poor little Ryker got it just before New Years. And today (the day before we leave for our trip to Seattle) I wake up with a nasty fever, cough, and being unable to keep anything down. My wonderful Daddy and Mommy of course called the Doctor (who also wants us to make the trip to Seattle to see some very important specialist) to figure things out. Well, after have a very unpleasant urine sample, multiple blood tests, chest x-ray, and abdominal x-ray I got myself a great big shot of a antibiotic and an oral regimen of antibiotics and Tamiflu. We sure hope that tonight I sleep well and tomorrow we get to go.

And for all you crazy science geeks out there (aka mommy's family) here are some pictures of pneumonia we got from the Mayo Clinc's website.

I say enough with sickness for this winter! Everyone be well from now on!

Lets stick to sharing things like books, and toys, and tutus. Okay, so maybe your parents wouldn't like you to put a tutu on Ryker.

I think your kids might have decided to share with their aunt...I've been perfectly healthy all winter until now.

I think Ryker would look rather striking in a tutu myself.

I hope you two get feeling better soon. How are we supposed to go snowshoeing if you are sick all the time?
