Therapy Time

We thought we would show you what happens during therapy.

DSC_5630

I, of course, love the swing. I mean who wouldn’t. I am pretty sure that my skills are getting to the level of circus performer. Who else can sit on a bolster on top of the swing, go in circles, without holding onto the ropes, and NOT fall off. I can!

DSC_5609

Then, there is this skooter board. My absolute FAVORITE. I just sit and hold onto the rope. Since this is getting too easy, they are adding a new twist.

DSC_5613

While they pull me around I have to find this little rubbery worms or frogs and pick them up with this awesome chopsticks.

DSC_5619

Then I have to maintain control and get it into this jar.

DSC_5625

Lots of little worms to find.

DSC_5604

I have to work hard at keeping myself entertained. God thing I love chocolate milk and Mommy is always willing to have a sippy cup full for me when we come.

DSC_5626

If I am really lucky, Mommy will let me take a picture of her. I have skills, I tell ya.

DSC_5632

Seriously, this swing is harder than it looks, but I am totally a pro now.

DSC_5635

Next week, tight rope walking.

Called to Serve

jacksonville_florida_a

Today was a big day for our family. After months of paperwork, preparation, and tons of prayer, our one and only Tino received a very important letter. She has been called to serve an evangelical mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints ( The Mormon Church). It is killing Mommy to see her “Baby Sister” all grown up and ready to conquer the world. But we are excited! Watch out Jacksonville!

An Elephant Never Forgets...

What they never forget? I don't know, maybe dessert. But something I had forgotten about was the fact that I have been an elephant.

DSC_5557

I decided to reconnect with my inner elephant after finding this in my closet today when I was supposed to be sitting in time out. (My Mommy just didn't understand that I was just trying to share when I brought out every single toy I own to the living room.)

DSC_5562

What I did not realize, is that Michelle is a trained elephant wrestler.

DSC_5567

In no time flat I was . . . well . . . down flat.

DSC_5571

And I am sure she will never let me forget it!

And We Had Visitors

Our family keeps growing. The most recent addition is our new cousin, the super adorable Baby Blue. Since he is amazingly cute and cuddly and everything a  baby should be, some certain someones came to meet him in person, Grandma and Grandpa!

DSC_5508

We put Grandpa to work right away! Three hard working men.

DSC_5515

Grandma taught me a new skill without even realizing it. In my Physical Therapy, we have been practicing catching a ball, but that is tough. But for Grandma I took the challenge and just did it. That is what Grandma's are for.

DSC_5519

Found out that playing catch with our pear tree, not such a good idea.

DSC_5536

I then tried to share the excitement of ball catching with Luke, but decided we will wait a few years.

DSC_5542

And then I ran off kicking  my ball into the bulrushes. I am pretty sure these aren't really bulrushes, but Mommy thinks that sounds a whole lot better than garden full of overgrown weeds because she is too lazy to pick them. We do our best to keep her happy.

DSC_5546

The other Thornton clan came over bringing the famous boy, Blue. And to celebrate the occasion Tammy made the yummiest cupcakes and I helped her put blue sprinkles on in honor of Blue.

DSCF0518

Later we snuck over to Grandpa and Grandma's hotel and went swimming with them!

DSCF0533

And to show the world that I am not like my mother, I have a picture of me in the pool with Toby! I may have only let my feet get wet, but that was more than Mommy did.

We are so grateful Blue is now home, healthy and happy, and we loved spending time with Grandma and Grandpa. What a fabulous weekend!

A Rare Moment

Today we had a rare moment.

Both Michelle and Ryker were asleep at the same time.

And we were both awake.

And it was daylight.

And Mommy was awake.

We are talking this has never, ever, EVER, happened, type of rare moment.

DSC_5499

Kinda nice to get some silly time with just Mommy. Thanks Michelle and Ryker.

Hey Everybody It's Family Night!

After our breakfast adventure, Daddy decided to do some more supervised training. Thought we would do something fun and tasty-Cookies!

DSC_5412

As you can see, I was in charge of measuring the flour.

DSC_5417

It got a bit intense.

DSC_5420

And as a sidenote, Mommy laughed when she saw this jersey on me because when she really wants to push Daddy's buttons she calls me "Number One." I don't quite get it, but it has something to do with my name.

DSC_5425

Michelle stayed away from the flour mayhem, and waited for a more appropriate task.

DSC_5434 DSC_5441

Max and Luke stayed in the living, perfectly happy just enjoying the noise from the kitchen chaos.

DSC_5475

Then my job began

DSC_5479

And we accidentally used a whole bag!

It was a delicious adventure. Next week, Baked Alaska.

Kitchen Adventure

Mommy started making French Toast for Breakfast the other morning (shocking, we know, but realize we said she started). The hungry cries of two certain small fries interrupted her efforts just after she had pulled all the necessary ingredients out and started warming the griddle. Well, we have helped Daddy enough in the kitchen that we had an idea of what to do. So when Daddy came in to finish the job this is what he found.

DSC_5400

Don't you to come eat breakfast at our house now?

A Beautiful Day

"It's a Beautiful Day!" That is what I say to convince Mommy to let me out of our house.

DSC_5259

Shocked with the freedom of being outside again so soon.

DSC_5263

That is because there is lots

DSC_5269

And lots

DSC_5274

Of ball throwing

DSC_5275

I love throwing balls

DSC_5284

Like . . . a lot.

DSC_5285

I mean a lot!

DSC_5299

But Daddy is introducing me to something new, hitting the ball!

DSC_5303

Bet you thought they forgot about me . . . Nope.

DSC_5310

Then we started practicing our paparazzi skills.

DSC_5315

Practicing my smile.

DSC_5319

Still enjoying my throwing freedom

DSC_5321

Adjusting my camera settings, had to be ready for the perfect shot

DSC_5379

Max decided to sport his new shades

DSC_5393

And Luke passed out from all the excitement.

What a Beautiful Day!

Top of the Pyramid

Mom told me to go eat breakfast

DSC_5249

Figured I would start at the top of the food pyramid. Sugar
