Pumpkin Carving

So in keeping with traditions of this Holiday, we commenced with the annual pumpkin carving.
Just doing my Vanna pose. Digging out the pumpkin guts, don't you just love the word guts!
Tracing the image so we could carve the coolest pumpkin EVER!
Doing my best to help Daddy stay in the lines.
Doing the carving. I had to work really hard to keep Daddy from messing up.

The end result. (Mommy didn't realize she had set the camera on "night" function so that is why everything is so blurry, but we just tell her that it adds to the spooky effect.)

Just a Bunch of Pots and Pans

Since learning to crawl and walk, I have decided to familiarize myself with my home. There have been certain places that my Mommy and Daddy haven't really introduced. But I have discovered that they were just trying to hide some of the best toys ever and the coolest hiding place in the world.
Just making more room for myself.
Do you know that you can make some of the awesomest music with these drums.

A world of discoveries Awaits me.

Party Number 2 For Birthday Number 1

It is tradition in my Mommy's family for people to have two birthday parties. One on their actual Birthday with family, and then another one earlier or later with their friends. I am not going to complain about having two parties. Two days for everyone to be focused on me, why not.
I was too excited for the party to start that I started unwrapping presents before people had even arrived. The sound of paper shredding, sigh.
I even got a whole other cake. An ice cream cake to boot!
I was trying to be a little bit more reserved this time.
But decided against that.
Michelle enjoying a bit of ice cream herself, yeah, I consider her one of my friends.
It was sooooooooo good.
I did enjoy it it quite a bit. Good thing I don't have to wear my 1st Birthday shirt again. I am not sure that even Spray and Wash can repair it. But it was so fun and so good. It was so awesome to have so many friends come over and celebrate my first year. Thank You All SOOOO Much!!!

The Big 1!!!

Tonight I had my First Birthday Party. I was just me and the Family. Daddy's Brother and his family came over and we Celebrated! It was the perfect way to end the day of continuous celebration with Mommy, Michelle, and Michelle's nurse. I had them sing three different versions of Happy Birthday at least 492 times to me, but whose counting. Having a entire day that is all about me, AWESOME!!!

The Birthday Card my fabulous sister handmade for me.

All the Gifts spread out on the table. They just sat there all day, taunting me.
Here I am beginning the ritual of opening the presents.
See the blur of the wrapping paper? Oh yes, I am that quick.Michelle getting caught opening a present.
Who isn't happy on their birthday?
When Daddy brought out the cake and started toward me, WOW!
Just us, the incredible foursome.
And the cake destroying begins. Now I will warn you, if you have a sensitive stomach, STOP here. The pictures that follow, may be too much for you.
In the beginning, there was a beautiful piece of chocolate cake.
Innocent beginnings. Again I warn you, this is nothing compared to the carnage that will soon follow.
I was rather surprised by the fact that I was beginning to make a rather large mess, and no one was stopping me. In fact they were encouraging me.
Oh so yummy!!!
So does it qualify as a Cake Wreck, if I wreck it after Mommy made it?
I was so glad Mommy would make me this yummy of a cake that I tried to share a bite with her. She didn't want any, wonder why?
Overall, it was a pretty good First Birthday. Come to think of it, I don't know of any possible way it could have been better.
